Zhidong "Z" Wang, founder and managing partner at Wang, Leonard & Condon, is a nationally-acclaimed immigration attorney embarking on his second decade of serving the Chinese community nationwide. Growing up in China during the Cultural Revolution, Z taught himself a variety of subjects whatever books he could lay his hands on. By 1987, Z had successfully completed his Masters program in Strategy and International Relations in Beijing. Having achieved the epitome of what he could accomplish in China. Z came to the United States with little money and a wealth of determination. By 1996, Z had graduated from the University of Notre Dame Law School and opened the doors to his own law firm, Z. Wang & Associates.
From 1996 to 2004, Z's law practice focused primarily immigration law and China practice. He has assisted thousands from the Asian Community with their immigration, real estate and business transactions. His China practice grew along with his reputation for hundreds of Asian companies have sought his advice and counsel on the implementation of business start-ups in the United States as well as U.S. companies with their market entry ventures into China.
Z has been admitted to the Bar in the State of Illinois, the Federal District Court, and the Federal Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit. He is also a member of the Illinois State Bar Association, the American Immigration Lawyers Association and the Chicago Bar Association. In addition to these memberships, Mr. Wang is also a Director of the Board for the Notre Dame Law Association and the Association for Chinese Scientists & Engineers.
Z resides with his wife and daughter in Barrington, Illinois. His son is a senior at the University of Notre Dame.
